10. "Take A Bow"

With it's melodramatic instrumentation, "Take A Bow" came from Leona Lewis' debut album Spirit. Producers and writers of the song wanted to create the song to sound different than what was to be expected from Lewis, ballads that could get boring after a while. The song has been compared to Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me A River."

9. "Outta My Head"

"Outta My Head" was a different style from Lewis included on her sophomore effort Echo. It saw Leona branching out to a dance style that would lead up to her evolution for third record Glassheart.

8. "Un Love Me"

In 2012, Leona Lewis released her third album Glassheart that wasn't much like her debut. She incorporated heavier dance and electronic styles. "Un Love Me" is a mid-tempo track about wishing the person she loves would "un love" her because she can't do it herself.

7. "Fireflies"

Taken from Glassheart, the gospel pop song is a standout on the album backed with a string orchestra. "Took a walk out the door/ On the day you would die/ And I looked up to the sun/ And I saw fireflies," she sings as if singing about a loved one passed on. An official lyric video for the song was released in 2012.

6. "Broken"

"Broken" comes from the second record Echo. The song starts out slow and dramatically picks up singing "I wanna run away from love/ This time I've had enough/ Every time I feel your touch/ I'm broken." By the end of the song, Lewis goes on a vocal gymnastics routine stretching it to highs that send chills from the ears to the toes. Lewis proves her power on this ballad.

5. "Run"

In 2011, Leona Lewis released Hurt: The EP which featured only a handful of covers including "Iris," "Colorblind" and "Hurt." The American edition featured a Snow Patrol cover of "Run". She did the song enough justice.

4. "Glassheart"

"Glassheart" is at first a shocker that Leona Lewis could record such a cool track. The titled track is an EDM track and the style blends effortlessly with her haunting vocals laid out on the song. With an expanding catalog, "Glassheart" is easily one of her best songs for a mainstream appeal. Unfortunately whoever runs her releases didn't jump on the boat with this one.

3. "Come Alive"

Another cool track on Glassheart, "Come Alive" follows the styling of the title track but features more of a dub-step groove than the latter.

2. "Better In Time"

"Better In Time" was released as the follow-up single to "Bleeding Love" and was received very well for it's healing message. The song reached No. 3 on the Pop Songs chart, No. 4 on AC and No. 6 on Adult Pop.

"Bleeding Love" was the breakout song for Lewis worldwide where it became one of the best songs of 2008 and of the decade selling over 10.4 million copies worldwide, 4 million in the U.S. alone. The song earned her a Grammy Nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Record of the Year (artist/producer award).
