【歌手簡介】
人人都喜歡灰姑娘式的童話故事。2006年夏天，穿上水晶鞋的是一個叫Cassie的黑人姑娘。幾乎一夜之間一個慵懶性感的女聲，帶著一首叫做《Me&U》的歌，搶佔了所有電臺和夜店。iTunes網站上，這首歌已經成為購買次數第三高的歌曲，而這個叫做Cassie的19歲女孩的個人space也迅速吸引到了超過三百萬的點擊率。
本名Cassandra Ventura的Cassie出生於1986年8月26日。憑藉著出眾的外型，從14歲開始便是一名簽約模特。但由於出生在一個有著良好音樂氛圍的家庭，她一直嘗試著在音樂方面也做出成績。 2005年，Cassie錄出一首歌曲《Kiss Me》作為送給母親的生日禮物，她把這支歌送到紐約Casablanca唱片辦公室的一個音樂製作人手裡，恰好遇上了前SONY唱片公司總裁Tommy Mottola，這位慧眼發掘出Mariah Carey和Jennifer Lopez的唱片業傳奇人物在試聽了Cassie的幾首歌曲後立刻產生濃厚的興趣。
