皇后樂隊搖滾歌曲經典之作: Bohemian Rhapsody 波西米亞狂想曲

在英國搖滾史上，若說有哪個樂隊可與“甲殼蟲”相媲美，那指的一定是“皇后”。它也被稱為“學士樂隊”，因四位成員均具有“本科學歷”，專業分別為藝術學、電子學、天文學和生物學。其中主修藝術的這位，即是freddie mercury，他是這個樂隊的主唱、鍵盤手，和靈魂。1975年，專輯《歌劇院之夜》出版，主打歌《波希米亞狂想曲》（《bohemian rhapsody》）雄據英國排行榜冠軍位置長達九周，打破了以往的紀錄，queen遂聲名大噪，尤以freddie性感而又華麗的穿透性聲音而著稱。

當時的評論說這首歌曲在悠揚中蘊涵無盡傷痛的情緒，充分體現了樂隊唯美精緻的樂風。 　　

在酷似歌劇唱詩般的華麗配樂中不斷加入大段的重金屬吉他 riff 和 solo，這正是 Queen 的典型風格。歌曲的製作過程也體現了 Queen 那種典型的精益求精的態度，他們用了 3 個星期的時間來進行錄製工作，而且在歌曲的音軌上加入了大量的背景配音，以至於在錄製完成後，母帶的有些地方磁粉已經薄到可以看穿的地步。
