Applause》（掌聲）由Lady GaGa和DJ White Shadow共同撰寫。收錄于Lady Gaga第三張個人錄音室專輯《ARTPOP》中，為首波主打單曲，已於2013年8月13日電臺首發。

單曲封面是由時尚攝影師組合伊內茲·馮·蘭姆斯韋德 (Inez van Lamsweerde) 和維努德·瑪達丁(VinoodhAPPLAUSE封面 Matadin)操刀，十分具有抽象主義風格。憑藉瘋狂抽象而寫實的角度，面部繽紛奇幻的油彩、潔白的背景以及純黑的頭套，隱隱透出一股波普氣息，也極具藝術境界。曲封面靈感來自小丑、歌劇、波普藝術以及日本視覺搖滾樂隊Pierrot的Pierrot-esque face。
