這首《Back to December》被認為是Taylor Swift寫給男星Taylor Lautner的道歉曲。這首歌由斯威夫特親自創作，收錄在她的最新專輯《Speak Now》中。Swift說這張專輯中的很多歌曲就像是公開的信件：“當我寫每一首歌曲的時候，腦海中都有一個特定的人，我會在歌中告訴他們我曾經想親口對他們說的話。”
